I have a passion for all types of design. It all started when I was young, with me creating clothes for my friends and I to put on our own fashion shows. When I got to college there was a requirement to take desktop publishing for the fashion program, and this is when I fell in love with graphic design. Nobody ever told me that something could be so much fun, and I changed my major to Graphic Design. After spending four years at a community college, I set out to Seattle to attend the Art Institute of Seattle for Fashion Design. While attending classes for fashion, I got a job at a local toy store that started out on the web. I was so excited when they hired me as their Graphic Artist to maintain the store’s e-commerce website. I learned so much from this experience, that I am now venturing out on my own, while caring for my one year old daughter as a single mom. Now I am back in Des Moines, Iowa ready to take on the world.
